Garuda Wisnu Kencana

Garuda Wisnu Kencana, or more oftenly shortened as GWK Cultural Park, is a tourist attraction spanning a huge area of about 60 hectares located at Ungasan, Badung Regency. Reaching it is easy; a trip from Ngurah Rai International Airport to GWK will only take around 25 minutes by car through comfortable roads. Created by one of Indonesia’s leading sculptor, Mr. I Nyoman Nuarta, the statue is especially notable for its impressive size: it commands around 120 meters in height and the length of its wing spans to 64 meters wide. GWK is one of the most important artistic aspirations in Indonesia, showing that Indonesia artists can create amazing creations that amazes and inspires; an example of excellent Indonesia local heritage that all of us have to pay attention to and preserve.

Dreamland Beach

Pantai Dreamland or Dreamland Beach is one of the tourist attractions situated at the southern part of Bali Island, in the area called Pecatu. Surrounded by high cliffs and beautiful corals around the perimiters of the beach, the Dreamland Beach is renowned for its shore breaks that can ignite the spirit of the more adventurous souls. This beach is located in the same general area as Bali Pecatu Graha (Kuta Golf Link Resort), and can be reached with only a 30 minutes ride from Kuta Beach.

Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida is located around 20 km southeast from Bali Island, separated to the mainland by Badung Strait. It is surrounded by two smaller Islands: Nusa Ceningan Island and Nusa Lembongan Island. It is a famous bird conservatory area in Bali, and there are also several famous diving spots to enjoy in here, such as Toyapakeh, Malibu Point, Crystal Bay, and Nusa Penida itself. Unknown to mostly Bali visitors, these islands offer visitors unspoiled visions of Bali beauty, and a must visit for anyone wishing to discover new exciting places to have a great adventure in.

This Island serves as a smaller satellite Islands to Nusa Penida, and although the available tourism facilities are nowhere near noteworthy, what are available are enough for you to enjoy the natural beauty the land has to offer. Expect to find not only beautiful, enchanting beaches in here, but also natural landscapes designed as a conservatory space for plants, birds, and turtles. Numerous diving spots are also available for divers to enjoy a great adventure in, and lucky divers can enjoy the sights of pelagic fishes, Manta Ray (Manta Birostris), Ocean Sunfish (Mola Mola – the heaviest known bony fish in the wolrd), and even whales.
